Take a minute or two to relax.

Good day to everyone.  I welcome you to my new blog and I hope you enjoy it enough to continue to come back.  Like many of you, I am new at this.  So please bear with me as I learn the ins and outs of this phenomenal method of communication.

Being full-time students, I am sure all of you are just as busy as I am each day.  Some of us work one or even two jobs, then turn around and complete multiple assignments for school each week.  In between all of that, we have households to take care of – cook, clean, take care of children, clean-up after pets, rake leaves, shovel snow, etc.  I don’t know about you, but juggling all these tasks, I sometimes feel like I am in a whirl wind.  To gain my sense of focus and give myself a minute to breath, I like to do a relaxing activity that I call nothing for 2 minutes.  Please join me now and do nothing for two minutes by clicking on the following link http://www.donothingfor2minutes.com/.  Enjoy!

  1. This was so awesome. I saved it so I can put it to use regularly. I didn't realize that 2 minutes actually feels like a really long time when you have kids yelling, a dog barking, a husband asking where something is, etc. I am going to put this to use when NO ONE is around so I can truly just not think for 2 minutes and seriously rest my mind, my thoughts, and most importantly- my body. Thanks so much for this!

  3. I love the do nothing for two minutes link! My volume was at 100% and as I am typing this response at almost 3:00 am I am sure you can imagine my initial reaction. Ahhhhhh!!!! This only last a few seconds and I soon found myself in that picture, truly relaxed and enjoying the sounds of the waves. When the audio was over, I was able to rotate my shoulders, drop my head so that my chin was touching my chest, and take in some really nice, long deep breaths. The tension of being hunched over my laptop for the last 4 hours dissipated and allowed me to type this response with little or no effort. Thank you for the experience and like Dreams I too saved this for future use.

    1. Andrea,

I am glad that you enjoyed this and it brought you enough relaxation to finish your assignments. Working til 3 in the morning is tough, I hope you make time for some sleep as well.
